The centre offers an invaluable service, providing counselling at an affordable cost within a realistic timeframe.
ReplyDeleteTo close it would be to add to the burden on the NHS that the centre already offers as an alternative.
Please for once, take note of these posts and remember that for every one written there are hundreds more in the families of Edinburgh.
The service provided by the Project is invaluable for carers. It enables them to have a brief respite from their stressful caring roles and realise that there are others who are similarly struggling to cope with their loved one's disabilities. Without carers' commitment, their loved ones care would be a costly charge on the State's resources.
